My Story

I became passionate about holistic health, yoga and attachment styles through my own healing journey.

Born in 1988 and raised in San Jose, CA from Filipino parents, I always struggled with feeling seen, heard and loved. As an INFJ and Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I started talk therapy in 2015 to primarily help me through PTSD and emotional triggers. I got some validation, but traditional therapy did not seem to teach new skills for my romantic relationships. I continued going from one relationship to another, including getting married and divorced. I returned to talk therapy again when I felt so lost and anxious, but mostly got encouragement instead of skills.

I spent most of my adulthood in Seattle, WA and New York City. Prior to becoming a coach, I practiced yoga for 20 years, earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from the University of Washington and spent 13 years as a performer and teacher. In 2022, I met my partner Ioan while working on a Disney Cruise ship and felt motivated to do something radically different than before.

Struggling with an anxious preoccupied attachment style, international long distance, eczema flareups and broken sleep due to stress, I revisited talk therapy. I tried 3 different therapists who didn’t seem to “get” me. I asked repeatedly for tools and strategies, not just acknowledgement. In the end, I was told I have an anxious brain, got recommended a few books, and was told that I need to “just not take things so personally”.

Frustrated, I quit therapy in March 2023, and took things into my own hands. I deep dived into alternative ways to heal my brain and body naturally, wanting to address the root cause of issues instead of simply manage symptoms or “deal” with my anxious attachment and brewing resentment.

I eventually discovered a more effective and efficient means to emotional resilience and healing- by overlapping the 3 modalities of holistic health, yoga, and integrative attachment theory. Subconscious reprogramming, healing my sleep, meditation, and learning strategies to heal core wounds, meet my own needs, communicate and set boundaries brought me SO much peace- finally! My eczema healed, my sleep got restored, my brain became calm, and my relationship FLOWED with love, understanding and connection.

After experiencing the life-changing results of becoming more secure, healed and CALM, I decided to get certified in all the techniques that healed me, and my mission launched to help others do the same.

I would be honored to teach you how to heal your brain, body and attachment style from the inside out, so you can enjoy a life of great health, more happiness, and thriving relationships.
